The new chic Escape by Satyam has a nice eat out on the lines of Blur Cafe, but with nicer interiors. So when the family was out at Express and had no mood for self service at the Food Court, we decided to dine at DINE and the whole experience was pretty nice!
We did not order starters - just plunged into one main course each. The wife had Lasagna, I had Chicken burger, sisters had one Mandarin Chicken and one Pasta a la Greek and the mom had chiken tikka! The lasagna was pretty decent, with a good serving of sauce on top and well baked. The chicken burger was ok, nothing special, the chicken ala Greek was awesome. Though small, the taste of these two small chicken breast pieces served on a small bed of pasta and fine vegetables was exquisite. The two gravy dishes that we ordered - the Mandarin and the Chicken tikka were served with rice - the Mandarin with egg fried rice and the Tikka with herbed rice and both were simply superb!!!!
For dessert we had two portions of Hazelnut mousse served on a ginger short bread and it was by Mikeal Besse - so, yeah it was out of the world too!!!!! Service was quick and attentive and the place is small so there is no problem with catching anybody's attention. The main courses were priced at Rs 175 odd, the burger at Rs 130 and the lasagna at Rs 235
DINE turns out to be a good 'non food court' option to eat out when you are shopping away to glory at Express Avenue!
